Aluminium doors are the strongest in the industry. Of course, they have been mixed with an alloy to withstand strength of the wind. They also never rust because of the metallic properties aluminium has. Aluminium doors are similar to those that are made of steel but differ when it comes its strength.
Composite door sets made from fibreglass are becoming increasingly popular. Designed to resemble timber, they are manufactured from a mixture of glass fibres and resin and are supplied complete with a steel and PVC reinforced frame. Weather resistant and low maintenance, these doors come in a variety of colours, require no protective treatment and provide a realistic-looking alternative to timber versions. They are also lighter than wooden doors, making them easier to hang, and will not warp or split. Another low maintenance option is PVC. This heavy-duty plastic is still widely used for sliding patio doors, but is less favoured for front doors nowadays due to its relatively flimsy construction and synthetic appearance.
Awnings come by many names with diverse functions. Some would suit customized needs. Look no further. Opt for fancy colors and textures of acrylic, sunscreen and canvas for automatic awnings. They protect balconies and walkways from the sun and harsh light beside ensuring privacy. Doors and windows could use them too with a box for the roller mechanism.
