If I could trade places with my
dog.... I would. Well, maybe not, he has an awful lot of health
problems. But I would definitely loved to be as well taken care
of! All joking aside, he is my child. He has saved my life
literally and figuratively. I couldn't ask for a better dog and my
life has been infinitely blessed with him. I can only hope that he
knows how much he is adored.
In 2003, while I was in the midst of my own health problems, Freedom was diagnosed with bladder stones. I was on disability at the time and had no way to come up with the money for the surgery that he desperately needed. I created this site: Freedom Fund and within 5 days, I had enough to cover his surgery. God took care of Freedom when I couldn't.
